Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 28, 2026 · Target: WCAG 2.1 Level AA
Our commitment
Vivarium Crocodylus is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. A park built to help everyone fall in love with crocodilians should be open to everyone, and we are continually working to improve the experience for every visitor.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological differences.
Measures we take
Keyboard accessibility — all interactive elements (links, buttons, menus, and forms) can be operated with a keyboard, and a visible focus indicator shows where you are on the page.
Skip to content — a “Skip to content” link is the first focusable element on every page, letting keyboard and screen-reader users bypass repeated navigation.
Semantic structure — we use proper landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a logical heading order so assistive technology can navigate the page.
Text alternatives — images convey meaning through alternative text, and purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology so they do not add noise.
Reduced motion — if your device requests reduced motion, we disable non-essential animation and smooth-scrolling effects.
Color and contrast — we work to maintain sufficient contrast between text and its background for comfortable reading.
Visiting in person
We want every guest to enjoy the park. For questions about wheelchair access, accessible parking, service animals, sensory considerations, or any accommodation that would make your visit easier, please reach out before you arrive and our team will do everything we can to help.
Known limitations
This site uses rich, cinematic motion and brand color as part of its identity. While we provide reduced-motion and keyboard-accessible alternatives, some decorative animations and brand-color accents may still present challenges for certain users.
We are actively reviewing the site and treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time task. If you encounter a barrier, we want to hear about it so we can fix it.
Feedback & contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you experience any difficulty accessing content, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us and we will do our best to provide the information or service you need through an alternative method.
Please include the page address (URL) and a description of the problem so we can respond as quickly as possible.
